Welcome!

Regardless of where we are in life, we all want to be better - improve something about ourselves and our situations. Maybe it's to be more successful at work. Or to be a better parent. Or to cure depression,. Perhaps it's to be more calm and centered and have better relationships. Or maybe it's to develop a more satisfying spirituality, Whatever it is, we always have some sort of idea or vision of how we would like to be, even if we're convinced we will never really achieve this, But these visions are gold. Whether they are conscious self-images we strive for, or are life directions we have yet to discover for ourselves, they are the dynamic blueprints of our personal development, healing and success.

Deep within us lie magnificent dreams of who we really are and what we're meant to do in life. Some of us feel we're flying high on these dreams. Some of us feel we're struggling between our dreams and everyday reality. And some of us feel so overwhelmed and consumed by our problems that we don't even know what our dreams are.

And, here's the deal. Whether you're aiming for success and pleasure, trying to move away from pain and suffering, or desiring a more spiritual life, you have the power within you to make this happen. All you need are the proper tools and the right attitudes. You may suffer from self doubt, and life may have given you problems that seem insurmountable, but you can overcome everything. You are meant to succeed and be victorious in your life, and you have the necessary strength just waiting to be used.

What's required of you is the willingness to try, a commitment to realizing your dreams of personal growth and success, and a long range plan. Let yourself dream big. Say to yourself, "Why not me, I can do this". Pursue your highest goals in life because this is how your true spirit lives. That's right, let your highest dreams guide your life. And get curious about your problems, as well, because they can actually help you with your dreams. In fact, your problems hold some of the golden keys to who you really are. They're sending you a message. Learn how to get the message. Then turn the message into a mission.

And there's something else. Even getting the message a thousand times won't change you unless you have a way of consistently conditioning your mind for the change. Like an athlete or a musician. Lasting change doesn't happen simply because we want it to or because we have an idea of how to change. Often we know exactly what to do and still can't do it. The change has to become a daily practice.

And whatever you do, keep an open mind and heart. The surest way to keep your problems going is to live your life using just one way of thinking about things. Every approach to life is created by a different set of beliefs, values, rules, feelings and ideology. This creates a personal culture that notices certain things about you and ignores others. What gets ignored are potential ways of experiencing yourself and life that are essential for getting completely outside your problems in a lasting way. So don't forget to embrace different paradigms, beliefs, life-styles, sub cultures and ways of being to draw from for creating personal change.
